PURPOSE:To simplify the number of processes and to stabilize quality, by coating at least the single surface of a wax base material with an adhesive. CONSTITUTION:When a wax molding material 1 is applied to a double-model 2 so that the surface coated with an adhesive 10 thereof is turned toward said model 2 and the opposite surface of said model 2 is pressed, the wax molding material 1 is faithfully deformed along the unevenness of the double model 2 to adhere closely and is fixed to the model 2 by the stickiness of the adhesive 10. In this case, since it is unnecessary to heat and soften the wax molding material, it is prevented that the wax molding material 1 is deformed at the time of bonding under pressure or the thickness thereof is changed by the protruding parts of the double-model 2. Further, strong close adhesiveness is secured even when the double-model 2 is not preliminarily immersed in wax. Then, the double model and the wax molding material are embedded in an embedding material 31 to form a cast 3 which is, in turn heated to predetermined temp. to burn off the wax molding material 1 and, immediately, a predetermined molten casting metal 4 is cast in the burn-off cavity and subsequently allowed to cool spontaneously to crush and remove the cast 3 to obtain a desired prosthetic article 5. |
