PURPOSE:To surely control information on the exchange of consumable goods, etc., by providing a non-volatile memory in which rewriting is possible and a driving circuit which drives the memory and rewriting the information on the exchange of the consumable goods in the memory while a driving motor is rotated. CONSTITUTION:Data for detecting the exchanging time of the consumable goods, etc., is written in the non-volatile memory (EEPROM) 71 where write is possible and whether or not it is the exchanging time is decided by a CPU 72 based on the data. When a consumable goods exchange detecting device 61 detects that the specified parts such as a photosensitive unit, etc., is exchanged, a photosensor 62 is shielded from the light by a light shielding plate 63b, a signal showing the effect is inputted in the input terminal PORT 1 of the CPU 72 and printing can be possible. The exchange request is written in the nonvolatile memory 71 while rotating a driving motor for forming the image. Thus, the data is surely rewritten without disconnecting a power source in the middle of rewriting the exchange requirement and the exchange requirement release information. |
