PURPOSE:To shorten the time for assembly and adjustment at the time of positioning of lifter to each shelf by interlocking the lifter with a drive motor provided on one side wall of a frame through wires, and providing a control device for positioning the lifter to each shelf in accordance with the quantity of rotation of the above drive motor. CONSTITUTION:When a servo motor 31 is driven to rotate a takeup drum 39 counterclockwise as indicated by the arrow in the figure, wires 49R, 49L are wrapped around the drum 39 to move the lifter upward, and when the drum 39 is reversed, the lifter 9 is moved downward. In this case, the number of pulses or the length L of a wire 49R(49L) is detected by a pulse generator 59, and the length L or the height-position H of the lifter 9 is inputted to a CPU53. The present position of the lifter 9 or the height-position H is compared with the shelf height-position Hn of a selected shelf 7 stored in a shelf height- position memory 67 by the CPU 53, and if H = Hn, the motor 31 is stopped, and the lifter 9 is positioned to the height-position Hn of the selected shelf 7. |
