PURPOSE:To improve corrosion resistance and to suppress reduction of reflectance by constituting a reflecting layer of Al alloy containing <=10 wt.% Zr and/or Hf. CONSTITUTION:The Al alloy containing <=10 wt.%Zr and/or Hf is used. If the add amt. of the alloy elements exceeds 10 wt.%, the initial reflectance is apt to decrease and crystallized material of larger size than the redording bit is produced during stored at high temp., which causes reading error of information. Thereby, the above alloy shows enough high initial reflectance and maintains excellent corrosion resistance for a long time, which suppresses reduction of the reflectance and results in long-term reliability of reproducing information. |
