PURPOSE:To prevent a chip from jumping or rising by suppressing energizing means by pressing means in cooperation with the vertical movements of a transfer head, and opening or closing a shutter. CONSTITUTION:A tape 2 is fed at a pitch by the rotation of a pawl wheel 7, and a chip P is fed to a takeup position directly under a nozzle 32. Then, a transfer head 30 is moved down, an elevator 23 is pressed down by pressing means 33, a lever 21 is rotated counterclockwise, a shutter 15a is laterally moved to be opened, the nozzle 32 is landed on the chip P to suck it and to take it up. Then, the nozzle 32 is raised, the pressing state of the elevator 23 is released by the means 33, and the shutter 15a is moved rightward by the tension of the spring 22 to be closed. |
