In the case of an agricultural method and machine, in which the soil to be sown is levelled, harrowed and sown, following which the seed is covered over and the soil, if necessary, is levelled again, the novelty resides in the fact that the soil is opened with harrowing shares in such a way that the seed bed remains intact and untilled, and that the sowing is performed in connection with the initial opening of the soil on the intact and untilled seed bed. This means that at last the prior levelling of the soil, the harrowing, sowing and covering over of the seed can be performed in one and the same operation by using a machine that can be drawn by a tractor, for example. A machine for implementing the invention may comprise a main frame 1, which by means of coupling elements 30, 31, can be coupled by coupling rods 32, 33 to a tractor, not shown. The main frame 1 carries a first blade 4 for pre- levelling the soil at the front, a harrowing frame 6 with a number of harrowing shares 10 suspended in springs 11 in the middle, and at the rear a further blade 5 for re- levelling the soil. The rear of each harrow share 10 is connected by way of a tube 15, 16 to a sowing machine 17, which delivers seed and fertiliser through the tubes. After-rolling is performed by a ring roller 20, which by means of swivel arms 22 is pivotally mounted on the main frame 1. <IMAGE> |
