PURPOSE:To allow a self-diagnosis function to be performed on hardware and also allow the details of detected fault to be printed when it is detected by providing a RAM memory control part, a ROM memory control part, a printing control part and a master control part. CONSTITUTION:During the self-diagnosis of hardware, a command for diagnosis is output to a RAM memory control part 2 and a ROM memory control part 5 from a master control part 1. The RAM memory diagnosis part 3 and the ROM memory diagnosis part 6 diagnose a RAM memory part 4 and a ROM memory part 7 respectively. The RAM memory diagnosis part 3 and the ROM memory diagnosis part 6 notify a RAM memory control part 2 and a ROM memory control part 5 of the diagnosis results respectively. Their respective diagnosis results are passed to a master control part 1. Consequently, the master control part 1 passes information on fault details to a printing control part 7 and thus printing is performed. |
