PURPOSE:To allow a sentence to which reference is always made to be automatically moved to a position where it is read easily by moving the position of a sheet on a copy viewing table against an input through a keyboard on a word processor and at the same time, adjusting the amount of sheet feed. CONSTITUTION:When a copy sheet 3 is set on a copy viewing table 2, an indicator bar is brought to a height where it can be easily recognized and then the initial line of the copy sheet 3 is set so that it comes to the position of the indicator bar 4. Next, a single sheet feed amount is determined by a sheet feed amount setting part 7 based on the character interval of the copy and the setting of the number of lines on a word processor 1. Each time line feed information is supplied, a sheet feed control part 6 sends information on the amount of sheet feed which is already set by the sheet feed amount setting part 7 to a drive part 8. The drive part 8 rotates a sheet feed drive motor by an amount corresponding to information on the setting of sheet feed, and thereby moves the copy sheet 3. Thus a sentence in the process of editing can always be brought to a position pointed out by the indicator bar 4 which is set to a height where it is easily recognized on the copy viewing table 2. |
