PURPOSE:To enable gas laser oscillation devices to be coincident with each other in oscillation timing independent of the detection threshold value of a photodetector by a method wherein the level of the emitted light at a final stage is detected, and the gas laser oscillation devices at stages are made to change in oscillation timing so as to make the detected light maximal in level. CONSTITUTION:A laser device is composed of gas laser oscillation devices 1-3, a photodetector 7, and a synchronous control device 10, where the synchronous control device 10 is composed of an arithmetic circuit 11, a memory 12, a comparing circuit 13, and a trigger generating circuit 14. The intensity of laser light outputted in pulses at a certain period is detected by a photodetector 7, the intensity level of the laser light is stored in the memory 12, and the trigger signals of the laser oscillation devices 1-3 are controlled in timing by advancing or delaying them by a period so as to make laser light maximal in intensity level. By this setup, gas laser oscillation devices can be made coincident with each other in oscillation timing independent of the detection threshold value of a photodetector. |
