发明名称 THERMAL TRANSFER RECORDING MEDIUM
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an image having high image density and reduced in the lowering of density by laminating an ink layer to a porous body holding heat- meltable ink. CONSTITUTION:Each of the first ink layer 1 and the second ink layer 2 is constituted of a porous body 4 and composed of a high-molecular substance and heat-meltable ink 3 and the heat-meltable ink 3 is based on a colorant and wax and constituted by adding other additives to both components if necessary. As the high-molecular substance constituting the porous body 4, a resin of every kind having a glass transition point higher than the m.p. of the heat- meltable ink 3 is used. As the number of times of printing increases, the pigment contained in the first ink layer 1 is gradually transferred to a recording material along with a heat-meltable dye through the second ink layer 2. By this method, the lowering of image density is eliminated even when the number of times of printing increases.
