PURPOSE:To play the musical sound of a sustenance system with rich expression by converting operation information corresponding to the operation position or displacement quantity of an operation element into speed information and controlling musical sound characteristics according to the speed information. CONSTITUTION:A plane type pressure sensor 2 is provided on the bottom surface of a box-shaped case 1 which has an opening atop and a slide resistor 3 is superposed on the pressure sensor 2 and stored in the case 1 in a vertically movable state. The slide resistor 3 has a knob 4 coupled with a slider through a connecting rod 3A and the knob 4 is gripped to move the slider reciprocally in the length direction of the resistor 3. A current is supplied to the resistor 3 and sliding operation is carried out with the knob 4 to lead a voltage signal VPO corresponding to the operation position out of a couple of terminals 3a and 3b of the resistor 3. Further, a voltage signal VPR corresponding to operation pressure can be led out of a couple of terminals 2a and 2b of the pressure sensor 2. |
