PURPOSE: To actively or passively stimulate an immune system to treat a cancer or an infections disease by allowing a patient to inhale the vapor of zinc produced by melting and evaporating a copper-zinc alloy or zinc metal. CONSTITUTION: This method for stimulating an immune system comprises heating a copper-zinc alloy or zinc metal, producing zinc oxide from the evaporated zinc, allowing a patient to inhale the zinc oxide vapor over a time sufficient of inducing an immune system-stimulating body state of the patient, such as fervescence, excessive perspiration, polymorphonuclear hyperleukocytosis and ague within 8hr after the exposure. The zinc oxide vapor having a zinc oxide concentration of 15-900mg/m<2> is preferably inhaled by the patient for <=1hr, and the inhalation is preferably repeated for each about 4-10 days. The simultaneous administrations of 1-30g/patient of vitamin C and 50000-1×10<6> I.U./patient of vitamin A gives increasing effects. |
