PURPOSE:To eliminate the trouble of sort originals and put copies in page order by detecting the top/reverse state of each original by a sensor in the middle of feeding to a copying position, switching the mode to a both-surface mode when there is an image on the reverse surface or to a one-surface mode when not, and inverting and discharging copying paper after copying in one mode without disordering the page order. CONSTITUTION:When an original is set at the copying position, a main body control part 50 receives an indication from an RDH control part 60 to put copying process equipment 53 in reverse-surface copying operation for the reverse surface of the original and copies the reverse-surface image to the other surface of transfer paper refed from a both-surface tray 121; and then the paper is inverted by an inverting device 3, namely, sent in a switch-back path 6 temporarily and inverted by switching a inversion branch claw 5 and then if there is no image on the reverse surface of the original to be discharged to a sorter 4, the RDH control part 60 and the main body control part 50 which receives the indication from the RDH control part 60 enter the one- surface mode, so that parallel processing corresponding to the one-surface mode is carried out by the main control part 50 and RDH control part 60. |
