PURPOSE:To embody a flash device in a simple circuit by allowing the output of one of the comparators to apply a voltage on the gate of an IGBT through a transistor, and permitting the output of the other comparator to directly turn off the gate of IGBT. CONSTITUTION:When a trigger control signal TRG from a light emission control circuit 2 becomes at H, the output of a comparator AP2 becomes at H while the output of another comparator AP1 at L, to turn on a transistor Q5. When an IGBT gate impression voltage control circuit 5 turns on the IGBT(Insulated Gate Bipolor Transistor), a trigger circuit 4 is actuated to permit a flashing discharge tube X0 to emit light, which is maintained as the IGBT is being on. When the trigger control signal TRG becomes at L, the output of the comparator AP2 in the IGBT gate impression voltage control circuit 5 will become at H to put of the transistor Q5, and the output of comparator AP2 becomes at L to turn off the IGBT immediately, and the flashing discharge tube X0 stops emitting light. Thereby the circuit is simplified. |
