<p>An apparatus (20; 200; 300) for handling medical fluid, such as a blood, during a medical procedure which is convertible for use after the procedure for at least one further use. The apparatus (20; 200; 300) includes a reservoir (22; 202; 302) for the medical fluid, and a port (68, 70; 304) in fluid communication with the reservoir (22; 202; 302). A track (104, 106; 210) is provided for mounting a primary connector block (74, 78; 206; 306; 500, 504, 506) and its associated secondary block (76, 80; 208; 308, 310) on the reservoir (22; 202; 302), with the primary connector block (74, 78; 206; 306; 500, 504, 506) initially aligned with its respective port (68, 70; 304) to allow the reservoir (22; 202; 302) to be used during the medical procedure. The track (104, 106; 210) allows the primary connector block (74, 78; 206; 306; 500, 504, 506) to be moved out of alignment with the port (68, 70; 304) and at least one of the secondary blocks (76, 80; 208; 308, 310) to be moved into alignment with the port (68, 70; 304) to allow the reservoir (22; 202; 302) to be used after the procedure. A seal tray (690) is also disclosed for movable mounting and sealing a connector block (604).</p> |
