<p>A wire line cable (2, 22) in which composite rods (8, 14) are spaced apart and axially disposed between a flexible, elongated, membrane (4, 12) which can be pressurized and a flexible outer protective sheath (6, 16) surrounding but separate from the membrane (4, 12). The internally fluid-pressurized wire line cable (2, 22) is used for running a wireline-actuated well tool (32) into a deviated wellbore (18) by providing the cable (2, 22) on a reel (20) and unreeling the cable (2, 22) as the tool (32) is run down the well (18).</p> |
