(A) A granulate, esp. animal litter, consists of cellulose fibres bonded with a mineral and/or organic materialpowder' to form granules, the novelty being that the granules are rounded and are compacted more at their surfaces than at their interiors. (B) Also claimed are a process and an appts. for mfg. the granulate, the appts. comprising a wet mixing stage, a granulating stage and a drying stage.
