<p>PURPOSE: To make through holes smaller and through hole intervals narrower by making a post portion where adjoining sides are nearly perpendicular to each other and flat and corners are machined to an arc shape contact with a flat contact surface of an elastic contact arm of a receptacle type contact. CONSTITUTION: A main body 120 of a square post type contact portion 102 is installed in a through hole 40 of a circuit board 12. An outermost portion of a smooth, nearly arc-shaped comer 110 is brought into close contact with a wall surface of a hole forming the longest diagonal with a size L. A central portion 122 is left as a flat side surface so as to be united with an inside contact surface 124 of an elastic contact arm 126 of a receptacle contact portion 24. Here, only the center of the side of the square post is utilized as an electrical connection and the diagonal reduces. As a result, through holes are reduced and through hole intervals are narrowed.</p> |
