<p>Nucleotidic sequences from the viral haemorrhagic septicaemia (VHS) virus, transcription products of the genomic RNA of said virus, use of said sequences as probes or triggers and for the expression of the nucleoprotein N and/or its fragments, plasmides useful for said expression and use of the expressed nucleoprotein and/or its fragments as an immunogenic agent, especially for the prevention of viral haemorrhagic septicaemia. Application of said sequences to the detection of viral haemorrhagic septicaemia and the obtaining of genetically modified animals. The nucleotidic sequence from the genomic RNA of the VHS virus comprises the coding gene for the nucleoprotein N, corresponds to the messenger RNA and comprises about 1346 nucleotides.</p> |
