Aphrodisiac contg. both animal and plant substances - including Testes siccatum, Cantharis, and extracts from Ginseng, Muira Puama and Damianae

Aphrodisiac (I) contg. (a) animal substances: Testes siccatum and Cantharis; and (b) agents extd. from wood, leaves or roots of Muira Puama, Faminae and Gingseng. A compsn. pref. contains Tests siccatum (esp. from bull) (2.2-2.7 wt.%), Cantharis (0.6-1.2 wt.%), Muira Puama (3.7-4.3 wt.%), Damianae (3.5-4.3 wt.%) and Ginseng extract (6.0-9.5 wt.%) all based on the weight of the carrier. USE/ADVANTAGE - (I) increase sexual activity and potency. It avoids problems of other recently marketed aphrodisiacs which contained only plant or animal susbtances, where often obtainable as alcoholic solns. and were often ineffective. (I) are effective 30-60 mins. after application.
