The planting table is used in the horticultural industry. It comprises a table frame with side support frames (3, 4) set across the length of the planting trays which are designed to move thereon via a slide carriage (5) which fits between the support frames via castors (8). A further support framework (6) which can be raised and lowered from the slide carriage (5) is designed with its upper edge lying below the upper edge (7) of the support frames (8, 3, 4) in the lowered position and above the upper edge (7) in the raised position. The slide carriage can be moved in the longitudinal axis of the table frame and crosswise in the longitudinal axis of the planting trays.
