PURPOSE:To enable sure communication with a GII facsimile device and a GII/ GIII facsimile device, by providing an operation switch controlling the execution of binary steps. CONSTITUTION:In a GII/GIII facsimile device, a GII exclusive use switch 20 communicating with a GII facsimile device is provided. One end of the switch 20 is connected to a set terminal of a flip-flop 21 and another end is grounded. A Q-output 23 of a flip-flop 21 sets a GII flag. When this GII flag is set, the transmission of the binary signals is inhibited and the reception/transmission of tonal signal only for the GII facsimile device is practiced. |
