<p>A process and apparatus for injection molding of plastic material are incorporated with improved perforated melt filtering means, which is formed by a check valve (70) provided within a machine body and functions for filtration of a plasticized material or melt during a metering operation, in association with a plasticizing operation, prior to an injection operation, and thus does not affect a high injection rate of the injection operation. The improved melt filtering means enables purging of impurities accumulated on a rear face thereof to be effected without detachment of a nozzle, but through a purging hole (63) formed in the machine body (2). Further, with an external or internal pressure-holding chamber system effecting injection molding with a high productivity, which involves a valve means (40) for effecting a nozzle passage interruption, the improved melt filtering means enables itself, if clogged with impurities, to be released from the clogging by a quasi-injection operation during the nozzle passage interruption.</p> |
