<p>PURPOSE:To surely separate a form by making at least one hole face an opening during the rotation of a roller without fail. CONSTITUTION:Many holes 24 are formed in the entire periphery of the roller 22 which is provided rotatably to a hollow member 21, which has one opening 27 formed opposite a form separation position shown by a mark 26 on the peripheral surface of a photosensitive drum 25 as an image carrier. The size of the opening 27 and the size and pitch of the holes 24 are so determined that two or three holes 24 face the opening 27 at all times. Then the photosensitive drum 25 is rotated as shown by an arrow E and the roller 22 is rotated as shown by an arrow F to convey a form 28 a shown by an arrow G. The form separating device 20 applies both a separating force and a conveying force to the form separation position 26 at all times. Consequently, a form 28 can surely be separated from the photosensitive drum 25.</p> |
