<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the volume of a package as a whole and to prevent temp. from rising in an engine room by disposing an outdoor heat exchanger on two sides of the package shaped in a rectangular parallelepiped on and by providing the engine room in a corner part being opposite to the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:An engine room A is provided in a corner part in a package of an engine heat pump, while an outdoor heat exchanger 7 is disposed across two sides, at least, at a position opposite to the engine room A. Between the engine room A and the outdoor heat exchanger 7, a space C is formed to be large sufficiently and an exhaust muffler, an accumulator and a suction muffler chamber E are disposed therein. Besides, an electrical equipment chamber B is provided above the engine room A and the electrical equipment chamber B is separated from the engine room A so that the heat of an engine 2 may not be transmitted to the electrical equipment chamber B. Since the heat exchanger 7 is disposed wide across two sides in this way, the area of the heat exchanger 7 can be secured to be wide sufficiently while the whole of an apparatus is constructed to be compact, and thus a sufficient capacity of heat exchange can be obtained.</p> |
