PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of designation of detailed information related to graph plotting by introducing an intermediate table generation rule, a plotting graph kind decision rule and a plotting priority decision rule. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate table generation rule 9, a plotting graph kind decision rule 10 and a plotting priority decision rule 11 are introduced, and by using means 2 - 4 for setting automatically the kind of a graph, the number of items and the name of item being suitable for retrieval data, the graph is displayed automatically. Accordingly, the number of input means for generating the graph decreases, and also, since the graph being suitable for data is selected and displayed, a user necessitates no knowledge related to graphing, and moreover, by allowing a rule for selecting an optimal graph to have a learning function, the graph as per a user's request can be plotted in a short time, and a work for regenerating the graph decreases. In such a way, it becomes unnecessary to designate detailed information related to graph plotting. |
