PURPOSE:To obtain a stable differential limiting device which is not affected with meshing reaction, by canceling thrust which is due to the meshing reaction of a pinion gear and side gears, within a closed loop consisting of the pinion gear, right and left side gears and a center block. CONSTITUTION:Meshing reaction between a pinion gear 3 and right and left side gears 5 is canceled within a closed loop consisting of the pinion gear 3, right and left side gears 5 and a connecting member, as right and left side gears 5 are respectively connected by means of the connecting member so as to be able to rotate freely. Accordingly, thrust which is due to meshing reaction between the pinion gear 3 and right and left side gears 5 is not to be inputted at the engagement portion of the 1st cam portion 4a and the 2nd cam portion 5a. As a result, the engagement portion of the 1st cam portion 4a and the 2nd cam portion 5a is not to be affected with thrust which is due to meshing reaction between the pinion gear 3 and right and left side gears 5.
