Coupler for shuttering section on parallel girders - has orthogonal clamping locks engaging transverse supports at girder ends

The coupler joins together sections of shuttering, each comprising a skin on parallel girders spaced by transverse bolts. Clamps bring the sections together and grip them. At the ends of the girders (3) are transverse supports (6), engaged by the tongs-type, locking clamps (7). The supports pref. extend through several adjacent girders and can have a profile resistant to bending loads, e.g. square, or tubular. ADVANTAGE - Simple, low-cost design with high bending moment transmission capacity.
