PURPOSE:To increase an image density, to decrease ground fogging, to completely obviate the splashing of a toner as well as to enhance a gradation characteristic by consisting the above developer of toners respectively having specific dielectric tangents and a silicone coated carrier having a current value. CONSTITUTION:This developer for electrophotography is used in a developing system having the electric field intensity characteristic within the region connecting the points given by 0.6X10<6>V/m at 600v, 0.8X10<6>V/m at 800V, 1.6X10<6>V/m at 800V, and 1.2X10<6>V/m at 600V in the relation between the surface potential and electric field intensity of a photosensitive body. Such developer for electrophotography consists of the toners having 1.5X10<-3> to 3.0X10<-3> dielectric tangent and the silicone coated carrier having 1.5 to 15 muA current value. The developer for electrophotography which is free from the toner splashing, carrier run-out and ground fogging and has the long life is obtd. in this way. |
