The arrangement for measuring acceleration contains an acceleration sensor and an associated electrical evaluation circuit. The sensor is a rigid body (2) freely movable in a housing contg. (1) electrical switch (4,6,7) actuating pins directed approximately towards the centre of the housing. The wt. of the body is matched to the switch actuating force so that the body operates the switch for an acceleration greater than a defined minimum level.
