In the pressure cooker whose lid rotationally opens, the safety device for discharging steam within the cooker before opening the lid, is equipped with an inner pressure regulator. And the safety lid-opening device discharges the pressure steam in abmormal states. The automatic safety device comprises a fixing tube (2) having an extrued helix outer face and a tilted inner face, a fixing cap (6) having a passageway (7) among the fixing members on the outer face of the tube (2), a discharge valve (16) connected to a discharge tube (11) and a connection tube (15), a movable tube (9) positioned within the fixing tube (2), and a spring (12) pushing the tube (9) downward.
