<p>An aluminum-chromium alloy having a high strength and excellent resistances to heat, corrosion, etc., which comprises 10 to 25 at. % of chromium, 0.1 to 5.0 at. % of iron and/or nickel, and the balance of substantially aluminum, wherein the total content of chromium and iron and/or nickel is 30 at. % or less. This alloy has a partially or wholly amorphous structure according to X-ray diffractometry. The production process comprises pulverizing the raw material by quench solidification, mechanically grinding the pulverized material, and hot solidifying the amorphous powder thus formed.</p> |
