Inflatable structure for suspensions, e.g between spaced doors in a cattle-shed or other building where warm contaminated air must be progressively replaced by cooler fresh air moving at low speed (less than 2 m/s.) and low pressure diff. (less than 50 Pa) has an elongated hollow shape. Internally the structure is subdivided into adjacent intermeshed compartments alternately for incoming and outgoing air. The compartments are formed of flexible sheeting (polyethylene) linked e.g. in accordian fashion and opt. interlinked by tensioning cables. A simple air-dividing valve may ensure optimum operating conditions w.r.t. pressure differences and w.r.t. number and type of animals and to ambient temp. inside and outside building changing e.g. from day to night and from winter to summer. A single low power fan may provide necessary air ciculation, and condensate is collected in discharge channel. ADVANTAGE - Structure is inexpensive to make and run, with low noise level.
