PURPOSE:To easily photograph and record pictures in an aimed shutter chance by providing an auxiliary photographing operation switching means to start the operation of an auxiliary photographing means and a control means to transfer and record video signals for more than one picture stored in a buffer memory means to a recording medium while responding the generation of a release signal. CONSTITUTION:A buffer memory control circuit 8 and a recording control circuit 9 respectively control the write and read of digital video signals in a buffer memory 7 and a memory pack 10. A sequence control circuit 11 controls the operation sequence of a camera by respectively outputting control signals to an image pickup element control circuit 4, buffer memory control circuit 8 and recording control circuit 9 while receiving a switch input generated by the operating member of the camera. A half push switch 12 and a release switch 13 are interlocked with the pushing operation of a release button shown in a second figure and when the release button is lightly pushed into the almost half of entire stroke, the half push switch 12 is changed over from OFF to ON. When the release button is deeply pushed into the almost entire stroke, the release switch 13 is changed over from OFF to ON as well. |
