PURPOSE:To eliminate a need for a complicated component metal mold and to enhance the accuracy of the distance between taping terminals by a method wherein a metal wire material is bent to be nearly U-shaped and the taping terminals are connected. CONSTITUTION:An electronic component 11 is molded of an insulating material. A plurality of terminals 12 protrude from the board-mounting bottom face 11a. Holes 11b, 11c are made, by keeping a prescribed distance P, in positions other than protruding parts of the terminals 12 on the center line on the bottom face 11a. Taping terminals 13 are formed of a round metal wire material whose diameter is a little larger than the diameter of the holes 11b, 11c made in the bottom face 11a; the wire material is worked so as to have the same size as the distance P and to be U-shaped in such a way that mutual sides are parallel. Thereby, the distance P, of two sides at connecting ends 13a, 13b of the taping terminals 13, which must be accurate in the mounting operation is maintained highly accurately because the taping terminals are connected by the connecting ends 13a, 13b. A mounting accuracy can be enhanced. |
