PURPOSE:To reduce the underexposure of a main object by setting the automatic light emission level of a stroboscope in accordance with the increase of the sensitivity of a film so that light may be emitted with higher brightness than the light emission level decided by ordinary AE interlocking. CONSTITUTION:By depressing a shutter release button, the read sensor of a film cartridge housing chamber reads the sensitivity of the film and inputs it in a CPU 10. The CPU 10 sets the light emission level of the stroboscope so as to gradually increase with the increase of the sensitivity of the film. Namely, based on the brightness of the object measured by a photometry circuit 20, a stroboscopic circuit 18 is controlled so that it may emit the light at the stage of the higher brightness than the ordinary light emission level of the stroboscope. Thus, a failure such as the underexposure or blurring which occurs in the case of using the high sensitivity film is reduced. |
