PURPOSE:To perform effective arrangement at a limited space by a method in which the suction passage means of the swing type power unit of scooter type motorcycle or motortricycle is approximately horizontally disposed from the rear of a car body toward the front thereof, and at least a part of the means overlaps a vibration insulting link, as seen from a side. CONSTITUTION:In a scooter type motorcycle V, an engine E, a belt type continuously variable transmission 9 to transmit the drive force of the engine E to a rear wheel Wr and a power unit P provided with a gear speed reducer 10, etc., are supported free to heave through a vibration insulating link L at the rear of a car body frame F. An article containing part 12 containing a helmet H is located above the power unit P. In this case, an air cleaner 38, a connecting tube 42 and a carburettor 39, with which a suction passage 1 of the engine E is formed, are horizontally disposed from the rear of a car body toward the front thereof.
