<p>PURPOSE:To prevent atmospheric pollution and the damage due to acidic rain by a method wherein cold water is injected in the contaminated atmospheric system to dissolve atmospheric pollutants in the waterdrops of cold water to remove the same and the cold water containing the pollutants is injected in and returned to the deep part of the ground. CONSTITUTION:Nozzle 2 is provided to the inner wall surface of a tunnel 1 to inject cold water and NOx or SOx in the exhaust gas of a car generated in the tunnel 1 is dissolved in the waterdrops 3 of the cold water to purify the air in the tunnel 1. Next, the cold water having pollution gas dissolved therein is passed through the adsorbing tank 4 outside the tunnel 1 to remove pollutants by the adsorbing material such as activated carbon in the adsorbing tank 4. Or, the cold water having pollutants dissolved therein is returned to the deep part of the ground from the well 5 deeply excavated in the ground to be confined in the ground. Further, a radiation pipe 7 is embedded in a road surface 6 and relatively warm ground water is passed through the pipe 7 to melt the snow falling on the road surface 6 and the temp. of water is lowered and the solubility of gas is enhanced and the removal efficiency of pollutants is enhanced. By this method, atmospheric pollution and the damage due to acidic rain are prevented.</p> |
