<p>PURPOSE:To form an overcoating material having high transparency and heat resistance and to obtain a color filter using thereof by using an acrylic coating material prepd. by adding a transparent pigment and a dispersant to acrylic resin and uniformly dispersing them. CONSTITUTION:A transparent pigment and a dispersant are added to acrylic resin and well kneaded by means of a stirrer to prepare varnish and a cross- linking agent or a photopolymn. initiator and a photopolymerizable acrylic monomer are added to the varnish and well stirred. The ratio among the constituents of the resulting resin compsn. is not especially restricted but usually the compsn. is composed essentially of 5-30 wt.% of the acrylic resin, 10-30 wt.% of the monomer, 0.05-3 wt.% of the initiator, about 5-30 wt.% of the pigment and about 0-3 wt.% of the dispersant. A transparent substrate 1 with a color filter layer 2 is coated with the resin compsn. in an arbitrary thickness to form an overcoat layer 3 having superior heat resistance. A nonionic surfac tant is effectively used as the dispersant.</p> |
