<p>PURPOSE:To use a main jig in common so as to eliminate interference with welding work by providing the main jig for car body assembly and a set jig which is transferred by a robot to position a car body part in the main jig while being set in accordance with a shape of the car body part. CONSTITUTION:A car body part 12 can be clamped to a hand part 13 of a set jig 8 by clamping its head part 15 by a robot. A connection part 14 of the set jig 8 can be positioned in a receiving part 9 of a main jig 1. The set jig 8, when its connection part is positioned, is locked by a lock means 11 of the main jig 1. When the set jig 8 is locked, a robot is separated from the set jig 8, and the car body part 12 can be welded to a car body 2 by holding a welding gun. Accordingly, even when a kind of the car body, set to the main jig 1, is changed, the main jig can be used in common, and only replacement of the set jig is required. Since the set jig is manufactured corresponding to the car body part, interference with the welding gun can be prevented.</p> |
