<p>PURPOSE:To generate a PWM output whose length of one period varies with the output of one period by supplying a count initial value to be fed to a counter at a count initial value generating circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a count initial value with respect to the H output of a PWM output is generated, a data only for a data by a bit number represented by a data latched in a pulse period register 4 is generated from data latched in a reload register 3, and when the count initial value with respect to the L output of the PWM output is generated, a data representing a length resulting from the subtraction of the length Ton of the H output of the PWM output decided by the count initial value with respect to the H output of the PWM output from the length T of one period of the PWM output decided by a data latched in the pulse period register 4 is generated and the data is supplied to a counter 2 as the count initial value.</p> |
