PURPOSE:To form images on both sides without inverting a recording medium and to change this device to an image forming device used exclusively to one- side copying with a simple operation by providing two sets of transfer means and fixing means respectively and making either of the fixing means attachable/ detachable. CONSTITUTION:When a copying paper from a paper feed cassette 15 is closely attached to a drum 22, a transfer device 23 transfers a toner image on the drum 22 to the copying paper. The copying paper is conducted to a 1st heating roller 31 and the transferred toner image is fixed on the copying paper. The copying paper where the image has been transferred on the surface is fed to the drum 22 through a temporary housing part 35 and closely attached to the drum 22. Then, the toner image on the drum 22 is transferred to the copying paper by a discharge charger 26 which is actuated as a 2nd transfer part. The copying paper is conducted to a 2nd heating roller 18 and the transferred toner image is fixed. Thus, both-side copying is performed. By detaching the heating roller 18, the device becomes the image forming device used exclusively to one-side copying. |
