PURPOSE:To specify an information type, an element information identification(ID) name, etc., to instruct an edition by storing system model information edited by a system model information editing means and controlling the stored information by a system model information control means. CONSTITUTION:At the time of inputting a system model information edition instruction from an input line 11, the system model information editing means 1 reads out the instruction and outputs a system model information ID name included in the instruction to a connection line 14 to wait an input from a connection line 21. A system model information storing means 2 extracts system model information corresponding to the system model information ID name inputted from the connection line 14 from a storage device (not shown in the figure) and outputs the extracted information to the connection line 21. The means 1 waiting the input from the line 21 inputs the system model information outputted to the line 21 by the means 2 and edits the system model information in accordance with the contents of the edition in the previously inputted edition instruction. Then, the means 1 outputs the edition result and the ID name and an information type included in the edition instruction to the line 14 and an output line 12 as the edited system model information.
