PURPOSE: To impart high quality to a positive image transferred to the top of an image receiving sheet by successively laminating a layer of a photosensitive compsn. and a layer of a photopolymerizable compsn. on the image receiving sheet after coating with an adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION: A layer (a) of a photopolymerizable compsn. contg. a photoreaction initiator and a free radial polymerizable component is formed on a transparent cover to obtain a photopolymerizable material (A). A layer (b) of a photosensitive compsn. contg. a photopolymerizable diazonium compd. or o-quinonediazido compd. and a colorant and an adhesive layer having a prescribed glass transition temp. Tg are formed on a substrate to obtain a photosensitive material (B). This material B is stuck on an image receiving sheet so that the adhesive layer adheres to the sheet, the substrate is peeled and the material A is stuck so that the layers (a), (b) overlap. The layers (a), (b) are then imagewise exposed with active rays through the transparent cover and the cover is peeled from the image receiving sheet. This operation is optionally repeated and positive images different from each other in color are laminated on the image receiving sheet. |
