An oxide piezoelectric material composed of Pb[ZrxTiy(Li1/4La1/4W1/2)z O3+ 1 wt.% PbO+A mol% additive [0.47 <=x <=0.53; 0.41 <= y 0.47; 0.02 <= z <= 0.06; 0 <= A <= 5; additive= MnO, NiO, La2O3 is produced by (a) mixing a raw powder of PbO, TiO2, Li2O3, La2O3 and WO3MnCO3 by the ball-mill, (b) firing the mixt. at 850 deg.C for 2 hr, (c) pressure-molding the fired powder and a binder at 1 ton/cm2, (d) calcining the molded material, and (e) attaching an electrode to the both sides of the calcined material, and polarizing it. The piezoelectric material is useful as piezoelectric devices and vibrators for a ultrasonic humidifier.
