PURPOSE:To obtain the subject cloth having excellent heat insulating properties by applying fine hollow bodies containing a foaming agent and a binder to a solid structural matter comprising two pieces of ground texture of surface side and rear side and a connecting part connecting said ground texture and heat-treating. CONSTITUTION:For instance, a fiber structural matter having a solid structure composed of two pieces of ground texture of surface side and rear side using a synthetic fiber filament and a connecting part connecting said ground texture is dipped in a binder-treating solution containing fine hollow bodies of microcapsule having 1-100mum diameter containing foaming agent and dried, then heat- treated to afford the objective heat insulating cloth having excellent heat insulating properties. Said heat insulating cloth is suitable as a heat insulating material in a clothing field or an industrial materials field, etc. |
