PURPOSE:To abort burst control at a high frequency band and to implement simple burst control by fetching two base band signals respectively and generating a signal whose amplitude is controlled in response to a bust control signal and applying adaptive control to the envelope of a high frequency signal to a prescribed shape. CONSTITUTION:The base band signal is fed to variable gain amplifiers 24-1, 24-2 via filters 12-1, 12-2 to implement the burst control. The voltage of the burst control signal fed externally to the variable gain amplifiers 24-1, 24-2 is set and the voltage is transited to realize the envelope of the desired high frequency signal. The burst control is implemented at a remarkably lower frequency than the band of the base band signal, that is, that of the carrier signal to simplify the burst control. |
