PURPOSE:To enable an operator to make magnification varying operation easily by so constituting a titled machine that the association of a set original size and a selected copying paper size is distinctly identifiable through visual sense. CONSTITUTION:When an original is set on contact glass and is held by a pressure plate after turning of an electric power source to a copying machine body, a size pattern 12 corresponding to the original size is displayed on the display surface 1 of a display device. Namely, the original size is detected by an original size detecting means, and the predetermined code signal corresponding to that size is outputted from a control part, by which the size patter 12 on the display surface 1 is displayed. When the operator selects a desired copying paper size from the size display 2 and pushes a selection key 3 in succession to this, the corresponding code signal is outputted from the control part, and a size pattern 13 corresponding to the copying paper size is displayed. With such constitution, the operator is able to know the difference between the original and the copying paper size and therefore, he can vary magnifications easily. |
