PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of external units owing to errorneous connection by turning on the external power supply switches of the external units only when respective external units recognize that they are appropriately connected to prescribed slots. CONSTITUTION:When internal power is supplied by the turning-on of a start switch 7, CPU 1 checks whether the prescribed external units 4 and 5 are sequentially and appropriately connected to all the slots or not. When they are recognized to be appropriately connected to all the slots, a power supply command is given to an external unit 6. Thus, the external unit 6 conducts external power supply switches sw1 and sw2 inserted into the power circuits of the external units 4 and 5. Thus, the external units 4 and 5 are prevented from being damaged by extraordinarily high external power owing to errorneous connection. |
