<p>PURPOSE:To obtain colored layers which are drastically improved in transferability and do not generate the overprintness and the tight contact defect with conductive films by treating a glass surface with a titanium coupling agent or aluminum coupling agent. CONSTITUTION:An adsorption layer of the titanium coupling agent or aluminum coupling agent is formed on a transparent substrate consisting of borosilicate glass, etc., and desired patterns of R, G, B are formed thereon by printing using the ink used for the production of color filters by a printing method. The coupling agent is exemplified by alkyl acetoacetate.aluminum diisopropylate, tetraisopropyl bisdioctyl (phosphite) titanate, etc. The coupling agent to be used is merely required to be adsorbed on the glass substrate. The coupling agent may be used alone or >=2 kinds thereof may be used in combination. The transferability of the ink to the glass substrate is improved in this way and the adhesiveness of the colored layers and the tight adhesive property of the conductive films, etc., onto the colored layers are improved as well.</p> |
